威雅公学夏校——手工课程

威雅公学夏校项目设立了一周两节的手工课。手工课锻炼了学生的动手能力、创作力和耐心。
在近期的手工课中，学生主要在学习雕板印刷。学生们从之前在上海艺术展上了解到的艺术家Ding Yi的作品中得到启发，设计了各式各样的花纹。然后将这些花纹以雕刻的形式刻在橡皮章上，之后再用滚轮对这些橡皮章上色印刷。通过不断尝试，学生们已经都熟悉掌握了这门技术。在最后的一节课中，学生们用不同颜色的墨水和花纹一起制作印刷长卷轴的大作。在这个过程中，学生学会了如何更好的进行小组配合和交流。
这些作品也会在夏校最后的艺术展中展出，让我们拭目以待吧！
WAIS summer program involves Crafts lessons twice a week for pupils. Pupils can learn different practical techniques and become more creative and patient while making interesting pieces.
Pupils learnt Lino-printing technique this week. They took inspiration from Ding Yi’s artworks they saw in Shanghai exhibition and each designed pattern, then curved the patterns on Lino matrix. By using rollers and coloured ink, they individually created printing pieces and became very familiar with this technique. In the last lesson, pupils used different colours and patterns to print on bigger sheets collaboratively. In this process, pupils learned to work as a team and communicate with each other.
Final pieces will be exhibited in the summer school’s art exhibition.
