威雅公学骑手展现马术热情 WAIS Riders Show Great Enthusiasm

5月25日星期六，威雅公学的年轻马术运动员们参加了常州首届青少年马术比赛，尽管比赛当天下起了大雨，但这并没有影响他们的参赛热情。
来自威雅公学的四位马术选手分别是英制8年级的L. Wang、英制7年级的P. Zhu、G. Bai和A. Li，他们与其他近40名青少年选手一起参加了本次比赛。
由于雨势较大，活动推迟了几个小时才开场。比赛正式开始，选手们按顺序完成了8个跳跃动作，L. Wang成绩为108.15"，P. Zhu成绩为96.46"，G. Bai成绩为76.81"，A. Li成绩为96.91"。
对于威雅公学的马术选手们来说，这是一次非常有意义的比赛经历。
Bad weather didn’t stop Wycombe Abbey riders from enthusiastically participating in a show jumping event.
The First Youth Horse Riding Competition held in Changzhou saw Wycombe Abbey riders L. Wang of Year 8 and P. Zhu Y7, G. Bai and A. Li of Year 7 all compete in the equestrian along with nearly 40 other riders.
Due to heavy rain the event was delayed by a few hours. The riders were timed completing a course of eight jumps with L. Wang scoring 108.15’’, P. Zhu 96.46’’, G. Bai 76.81’’ and A. Li 96.91”.
Although the Wycombe Abbey team were marginally off the prize winning time they did have a very enjoyable experience.
