Today we held our monthly IB assembly about the Learner Profile –Thinkers. Being thinkers means that we use critical and creative thinking skills to analyse and take responsible action on complex problems. We exercise initiative in making reasoned, ethical decisions.
今天，昆山加拿大国际学校举行了IB集会，主题是勤于思考。勤于思考意味着运用批判性和创造性思考技能，对复杂的问题进行分析并采取负责任的行动，积极主动地做出理由充分、合乎伦理的决定。
The CISK band brought us the song "Video Kill the Radio Star", and the beautiful song started this month's IB Assembly. Firstly, we presented awards to students who have achieved outstanding rankings in the Waterloo Math Competition from the seventh to the eleventh grade, and then we presented awards to the winners of the outstanding works of the STEAM Fair. Congratulations to all the winners, your excellence is obvious to all!
CISK乐队为我们带来了歌曲《Video Kill the Radio Star》，优美的歌声为我们拉开了本月IB集会的序幕。首先，我们为七至十一年级在滑铁卢数学大赛中取得优秀名次的学生颁奖，之后我们又为科技节的优秀作品获奖者颁奖。恭喜所有胜出的学生，你们的优秀有目共睹！
SK students were the hosts of the assembly. The hosts shared their thoughts with us about how to make the world a better place and the methods they came up with, and then they showed some photos of SK tree planting. Later, all the students in SK sang the song "I’m the Earth" for us. They came up with these simple methods to evoke our awareness of protecting the planet.
本次的集会是由我们大班的学生主持的，小主持人们与我们分享了大班对于如何让这个世界变得更加美好的诸多思考以及他们想出的方法，并为我们播放了大班植树的照片。随后，大班全体学生为我们演唱《I’m the Earth》。他们想出了这些简单纯朴的方法，唤起我们保护地球的意识。
As with every IB assembly, we recognize students who demonstrate the IB Learner Profile of the month. Congratulations to the winners of this month!
