随着新赛艇中心的落成，威雅公学现在可以自豪地说，我们已经拥有全亚洲非常先进的赛艇训练场馆和设备。全新的赛艇中心包括一间教室、一间视频分析室、一间多功能训练室和一间运动科学实验室。场馆内还有15台Concept 2划船器，现在被安置在另一个大型室内训练馆内，在这里，西太湖的美景尽收眼底。
我们现有三个赛艇停放处，容纳了30多艘优质碳纤维和凯夫拉尔合成纤维赛艇。不得不说，在常州威雅公学，我们拥有全亚洲最好的赛艇项目和设施。
2020年，我们将带着常州威雅公学的两支学生队伍和两支俱乐部队伍参加世界著名的亨利皇家赛艇会。这项重大赛事将吸引来自世界各地的队伍，包括国家奥运代表队。
在常州威雅公学，每周都有超过120名学生参与赛艇训练。赛艇运动正在蓬勃发展，我们期待在接下来的几个月里与您分享更多的最新情况。
Wycombe Abbey School can now boast one of the best rowing facilities in China, with the completion of their new purpose built boathouse. The Rowing centre incorporates a classroom for briefing, a video analysis room, a multi purpose room for circuit training, yoga and a sports science laboratory. All this adding to our 15 Concept 2 ergometers that are situated in another large indoor training that overlooks the lake.
With three bays housing our current fleet of over 30 top quality carbon fiber and kevlar racing boats, we now have one of the best rowing programs and facilities in Asia.
In 2020 the WASCZ Rowing Club will we be taking two pupil crews and two club crews to race at the World famous Henley Royal Regatta. This major event attracts crews from all over the world , including national Olympic teams.
Over over 120 pupils rowing each week, ‘Rowing is Growing’ and we look forward to sharing more updates over the coming months.
