常州威雅公学 | 爱丁堡公爵奖户外探险 [DAY 3]

Year 7&8 · LinAn 临安
今早，常州威雅公学学生们收起帐篷，乘坐巴士离开了营地。我们于上午八点半抵达了下一个目的地。学生们很享受今天的8公里徒步——实际上路程和昨天一样，但今天要轻松得多，学生们用2个小时就走完了全程。徒步结束后，大家用披萨犒劳了自己。下午一点，精疲力尽的探险家们终于踏上了返程！
Today pupils packed up their tents, check out of the hotel before breakfast. We were on the buses by 8.30am to the next destination. pupils enjoyed a walk of 8km - actually the same distance as yesterday but much easier and pupils completed it in to two hours. They enjoyed pizza when they finished. We left at 1pm and headed back to school with 222 tired pupils!
Year 9&10 · Jilongshan 鸡笼山
户外探险的第三天清晨，英制九年级和十年级的学生吃了丰盛的早餐，并收拾好行李，准备返程。收起帐篷后，我们进行了最后一项户外活动——寻宝游戏，学生们在这项活动中利用地图和指南针，进一步巩固了他们的户外导航技能。寻宝游戏结束后，我们和过去三天照顾我们的营地老师们告别。其中Robertson先生已经带领威雅公学的户外探险项目多年，他表示自己最喜欢和我们学校一起工作，因为我们学生的表现十分出色，同时，看到我们学生的性格和力量每年都有所成长，他感到十分满意。回程中，学生们在巴士上享用了美味的披萨，我们此次的户外探险活动也圆满落下帷幕。
The Year 9 and 10 pupils in Jilongshan have had a hearty breakfast and have packed their bags ready for the journey back to Changzhou later. We took the tents down and got ready for the last activity: a scavenger hunt where the pupils will practise using their navigation skills with a map and compass. The pupils completed the scavenger hunt games and we said goodbye to all of our partner teachers who have looked after us for the past 3 days. Their leader, Mr Robertson, has worked with Wycombe Abbey School, Changzhou, now for 5 years and he said that he enjoys working with our school the most because our pupils are well behaved and it is very satisfying to see our pupils' character and strength grow each year. The pupils enjoyed pizza on the way back to school.
