常州威雅公学英制七年级和八年级的学生于今天中午抵达临安，我们的营地在美丽的湖畔，并有青山环绕。午餐后，学生们参加了一系列的团队建设活动，如“魔毯”、“我的金球在哪”和“两个部落”等一系列提高学生团队技能和凝聚力的游戏。女孩们在星空下搭帐篷过夜，并开始了野炊。男孩们在酒店餐厅享用了晚餐后，加入了“寻找老师”的活动项目——一个关于跟踪和导航技能的游戏。明天，学生们就要去远足了！

Year 7 and 8s arrived at Lin’an just before lunch; a beautiful setting in green hills and a lake. After lunch, pupils took part in a range of team building activities such as magic carpet, where’s my golden orb and two tribes (a range of games that develop the pupils’ team skills and bonding). The girls set up their tent for a night under the stars and then cooked their own meal on the camp fire. The boys enjoyed an evening meal in the hotel restaurant before taking part in ‘find the teacher’ - a tracking and navigation games. Tomorrow, pupils will go on a hike!

The year 9 and 10 pupils have arrived at the national park camp site in Jilongshan. the activities have started straight away with team games, learning how to use a compass to find the direction, and putting the tents up. some pupils are in pairs and some are in triples, all with their friends from their Houses at school. The weather has been great all afternoon and later will be cooler, perfect for sleeping out in tents. Soon we will eat food from a local restaurant and after that we will use maps to plan the hiking route tomorrow!
