近日，11与12年级IBDP视觉艺术课程的学生们在老师的陪同下参观了西岸艺术中心和外滩壹号。学生们欣赏了知名与小众艺术家的诸多佳作，其中包括毕加索、保罗·克利、瓦西里·康定斯基和莫奈。在观摩考量艺术作品的同时，大家也学习研究了策展与布展的构思与技巧。

策展与布展在IB视觉艺术课程中占比颇高，因为实地探访学习对学生们来说至关重要。此次行程中大家在参观中途进行了拍摄和素描采风，回校后需要攥写一篇关于西岸艺术中心展览的述评。

欣赏作品之余，同学们也很高兴有机会在外滩漫步，沐浴着阳光共进午餐。真是一次美妙愉悦的艺术之旅。

The Grade 11 and Grade 12 Visual Arts IBDP students went on a gallery exploration trip to the West Bund Art Center and the world famous One Bund Gallery. They were able to view first had a wide range of well known and lesser known artists, including Picasso, Klee, Kandinsky and Monet.                   

They viewed and reflected on the art works, but also the exhibition layout. The layout and exhibition is 40% of the IB and so it was a crucial trip for the young artists. They were tasked with writing a critical review of the West Bund exhibition and were encouraged to photograph and sketch as they walked around. 

It was a great day and the students loved the opportunity to walk around some world class art and bask in the sun for their lunch on the Bund.
