热情的五月，NEBS小学部的孩子们在欢声笑语中迎来了期盼已久的英语活动。为展示NEBS孩子的青春风采与激情梦想，提高孩子们的英语素养与个人素质，作为英语项目式学习十大活动预热，小学部四、五年级开展了英文歌曲快闪活动。
In order to show NEBS students' youth style and the passion dream, to improve students' English literacy and personal quality, and to warm up for English PBL activities, we launched the English Songs Flash Mob Activity in may.
Q：什么是快闪（Flash mob）呢?
A：
1. Flash mob.
快闪的英文说法。Flash强调的快速，Mob本身有帮派的意思，在这里引申为民间一种很酷的组织形式。
2. People keep checking the time on their phones.
快闪最重要的是准时，在某一特定时间聚在一起，跳完立刻闪人，所以带上手机很重要啊！
3. Make sure the flash is on.
快闪因为声音巨大，所以很容易得到关注，一些人在唱跳，一些人在拍。
4. Flash mob is a group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual and seemingly pointless act for a brief time, then quickly disperse, often for the purposes of entertainment, satire, and artistic expression.
是一群人在公共场合集结并做出特定动作，结束后立刻散去。一般以娱乐、讽刺或艺术表达为目的。
如此酷的活动，NEBS的孩子们怎会不感兴趣？
四年级的歌曲是Proud of you，这是一首特别励志的英文歌曲，凸显青春奋斗目标的曲子，激励学生积极向上，勇于追梦。
The students of grade four sang the song of Proud of you, which was an inspirational English song. It highlighted the goals of youth and motivated students to be positive and encouraged our students to chase their dreams also.
五年级的歌曲是Monsters，因为很多人把这首歌作为纪念钢铁侠的音乐才走红，在广大学生之间流传，希望我们的学生也拥有钢铁侠般的意志。
The students of grade five sang the song of Monsters. This song was very popular since lots of people used it as a memorial of Iron Man. I hope our students also have the Iron Man will too.
本次校园歌曲快闪活动，激发学生们传唱具有时代特色、青春风采和艺术感染力的优秀校园歌曲。让属于这个时代的声音传唱起来，让优秀的校园文化和青春风尚形成澎湃力量。使校歌的旋律激励莘莘学子勇创辉煌！
This activity inspired our students to sing the song with the characteristics of the times and youth style. So the voice of this era will sing up, and it makes the excellent campus culture and youth fashion form a surging force. The melody of the school songs inspires our students, it also encourages them to create a brilliant future!
