Today we celebrated the graduation of our eighth grade students and first IBDP students. This transition is very significant in their lives, and in Canadian schools, is recognized as an important day in a student’s education. We also recognized accomplishments in our grade 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 students.
今天我们一起庆祝了八年级学生和我校第一届IBDP学生顺利毕业。这将是他们人生中很重要的一次转折，在加拿大的学校，这个日子是学生们学习生涯中非常重要的一天。同时，我们还为8到12年级的学生颁奖，鼓励他们在这段时间中取得的成就。
Ms. Kathy gave us the opening speech. The principal congratulated the eighth graders on their graduation and also placed great hopes on their upcoming entry into high school. Ms. Kathy also presented a wonderful blessing to our first IBDP graduates and suggestions for their future. The principal has put forward many expectations and requirements for other award-winning students in the senior years. She hopes every student will get better and better at CISK. Then, the principal began to announce the honor roll of students in grades 8-12. Congratulations to all honored students!
Kathy校长为我们致了开幕词。校长祝贺八年级学生即将毕业，也对他们即将升入高中寄予了深切厚望。校长还为我们第一届IBDP毕业生献上了美好祝福和对于未来的谆谆教诲。校长对高年级其他获奖学生提出了很多期望和要求。愿每一个学生在CISK越来越好。接着，校长开始宣布八至十二年级优秀学生名单。祝贺所有优秀学生！
Grade 8 students sang the song Something Just Like This to tell us that we need to accept and love ourselves. At our school it is customary to give a special award called the Principal’s Award. This is given to a student who has continually demonstrated integrity, honesty, and willingness to help others. The recipient is conscientious, reliable and sees no task too difficult. This person is always willing to help fellow students and school staff in any way possible, while always remaining positive. Ms. Kathy explained the importance of this award and it was proudly awarded to Lisa.
八年级的同学们演唱了一首Something Just Like This，寓意接受并爱上本源的自己。一曲美妙的演唱之后，Kathy校长上台颁发“校长奖”，这是我校的一个传统特殊奖项。该奖项会颁给不断表现出正直、诚实和乐于助人品质的学生。获奖者认真、可靠，并且勇于克服一切困难。这个人总是愿意以任何可能的方式帮助同学和学校的工作人员，同时始终保持积极的态度。Kathy校长解释了这一奖项的重要性，并自豪地将此奖授予田家安同学。
Then, we started awarding the students from Grade 9 to 12. Ms. Nicole and Mr. Bobby awarded the students who are outstanding in Visual Arts and Music this year. We are looking forward to see you further develop in the arts.
随后，我们为9至12年级的学生颁奖。Nicole老师和Bobby老师为我们颁发了本年度在艺术和音乐方面表现突出的学生。老师很期待看到他们今后在艺术道路上取得的成就。

Mr. Kurt announced the winner of Excellence in Athletics, congratulations to Tom Sene!
Mr. Kurt为我们颁发了本年度在体育运动方面表现突出的学生，恭喜Tom Sene同学。
The Communication Award was given to one student who has demonstrated dedication, enthusiasm, and excellence in language learning. This also includes their communication with others, they are able to communicate clearly and effectively with staff and peers alike. Congratulations to Coco Chen from Grade 12.
沟通奖会颁给展示出奉献、热情的品质并在语言学习中取得优越成绩的学生。这其中还包括能与他人清楚、有效的沟通能力。让我们一起恭喜十二年级的陈可荣获此奖。
The overall achievement award was given for grade 9, 10, 11 and 12. This award was given to the student with the highest overall score in their grade. They showed focus and discipline in their studies and we are proud to recognize the following students.
整体成就奖是颁给9、10、11、12年级的学生中，整体综合成绩名列前茅的学生。他们在学习中展现出了高度的自律，我们很自豪的将该奖项授予以下学生：

Andrew and Maggie- Grade 11曾祥安和章若琪——十一年级
Robin Chong- Grade 12张添穗——十二年级
The CISK Spirit of the Wolf Award goes to a high school student who has demonstrated strength, perseverance and risk-taking in the pursuit of personal and academic excellence. They also maintain a positive perspective and strive to reflect the vision of CISK, demonstrating a caring and welcoming attitude towards everyone. The recipient of this award was Andy Chong for the school spirit and IB learner profile he demonstrated. Congratulations!!
我校的狼魂奖会颁给高年级学生中，在个人和学术的卓越发展中体现出勇气、坚毅、敢于冒险的精神，他们保持着积极的心态，致力于在自己身上体现学校精神和IB学习者品质，对他人关爱、热情。今年，获得此项奖项的学生是张添祺！祝贺他！
Then, the Grade 8 students brought us the song Youth. After the performance, the Grade 8 teachers Mr. Chan and Mr. Herring, issued a certificate for each student in their classes. With each student the teachers described the student and their aspirations as they walked across the stage. We hope that every grade 8 student will continue to grow and progress in high school.
接着，八年级的学生又为我们带来了歌曲Youth，歌颂青春。表演结束后，八年级的班主任Mr. Chan和Mr. Herring为自己班的每一个学生颁发毕业证书，随着每一个学生走上舞台，老师都会描述这个学生和他的成长，并表达老师对他们的殷切期望和美好祝愿。愿每一个八年级的学生都能在高中学习中不断成长进步。
The Grade 11 students specially prepared a song Na Xie Nian for the Grade 12 students. The deep friendship of schoolmates will not fade away because of graduation. Those beautiful memories will be imprinted deep in of our hearts forever.
十一年级的学生特意为十二年级的同学准备了一首《那些年》，与学长学姐共勉即将逝去的点滴高中时光。深深的同学之情不会因为毕业而淡去，这段美好的记忆会永远烙印在我们心底深处。
Later, our IBDP coordinator, Ms. Kristie, gave a speech to our graduates. She deeply loved every single graduate. She shared the bright spots she saw in every student and expressed her pride and love to them. There are always too many emotions to express in graduation season. After that, she and Mr. Kathy jointly awarded the graduation certificates to our graduates. Ms. Kathy moved the tassel on the hat, symbolizing their official graduation! This is the first IBDP graduating class at CISK and we are incredibly proud of them. We look forward to seeing their growth continue during their education abroad.
随后，我们的IBDP项目协调员Kristie老师为我们的毕业生致辞，她对于每一个毕业生都满怀深深的爱，她一一分享了自己在每一个孩子身上看到的闪光点，表达了自己对每一个学生的自豪与不舍，在这个离别的季节，总是有太多说不明道不尽的情愫。之后，她与Kathy校长共同为我们的毕业生颁发毕业证书，校长为毕业生拨动帽子上的流苏，象征着他们正式毕业！这是CISK的第一届IBDP毕业班，我们为他们感到无比骄傲。我们期待看到他们在国外学习后的更多进步。
In the end, Ms. Kathy made a closing speech for us. The principal felt that this fruitful year was attributed to the efforts of the students and the support of the parents, as well as the hard work of the teachers. Everyone, the learning journey still continues, way to go!
最后，Kathy校长为我们致闭幕词，校长感慨这硕果累累的一年归功于学生们的努力和家长的支持，以及老师的辛勤付出。同学们，学习之旅还将继续，加油！
