常州威雅公学|橄榄球世界杯为小学部点亮想象之光!

常州威雅公学一直将体育运动视为学校生活的重要组成部分。今年在日本举办的橄榄球世界杯，是四年一度的世界第三大体育盛事。这给我们的学生提供了一个绝佳的机会，促进他们加深对体育的热爱。
刚刚过去的星期一，108名小学寄宿生中，女生被分到了无板篮球组，男生被分到了橄榄球组，分别练习他们的传球和拦截技能，帮助他们在ECA和训练课程之前做准备，并为今年晚些时候将进行的竞争性橄榄球赛和无板篮球赛打好基础。
除了练习技巧，许多小学寄宿生还对观看橄榄球世界杯比赛非常感兴趣，我们也将在学校的大屏幕上直播橄榄球世界杯。孩子们不断地向老师们提问，看来他们都对学习橄榄球知识非常渴望。
同时，小学部还举办了“从常州到东京”的体能挑战活动，接下来的几周里小学部将充满能量！
With sport being such an important part of life at Wycombe Abbey School, Changzhou: the Rugby World Cup, the third biggest sporting quadrennial sporting event in the world, this year being held in Japan, has presented a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to continue to develop their love of sport.
This past Monday, all 108 of our Primary boarders were issued with either a WASCZ netball (girls) or WASCZ rugby ball (boys), to use for their own enjoyment and to practice their passing and catching skills ahead of their ECAs and training sessions and competitive rugby and netball matches later in the year.
As well as practicing their balls skills, many of the primary boarders were very interested in watching Rugby World Cup matches, which were shown live on screens at school. The questions they asked of staff showed a real thirst for information and a desire to develop their knowledge of the game.
Along with the Changzhou to Tokyo fitness challenge, it is set to be a very energetic next few weeks in the Primary school!
