在南风轻轻吹送的六月，除了离别，还有更多的遇见。而这些遇见，总是那么新奇，总是那么让人期待。

When the south wind blows gently in June, besides parting, there are more encounters. And these encounters are always so novel, and always long-anticipated.

一些熠熠闪烁的新星们，划破天空，炽热的痕迹将在他们的记忆中留下难忘的回忆。2019年6月26日，尚德融合部中学的新生们将对父母的依恋寄存于心中，朝气蓬勃地迈入了属于他们为期五天的夏令营生活。一切对他们来说都是新鲜的。

Some shining new stars cut through the sky, leaving burning traces in their unforgettable memories. On June 26th, 2019, the freshmen of SSES Integrated Department Middle Year Programs placed their attachment to their parents deep in their hearts, and vigorously entered their five-day summer camp lives. Everything is brand new to them.

在语言与文学课程中，小营员们在老师的指导下了解了名字的意义，学习了古代“字”与 “号”的历史，并且从自己的名字入手，探索其中的美好意义并以海报呈现给小伙伴们，体现了课程中的交流、表达技能。

In Language and Literature classes, they learnt the meaning of our name, study the history of our name to inquire the wonderful meanings. And we use posters to present the skill of communication and expression.

除了认识自我，在英语语言习得课程中，小营员们也非常热情地认识身边的新朋友。可爱的外教老师和有趣的课堂活动都吸引着大家，气氛非常活跃，新生们在积极的课堂氛围中实现了自我表达的提升，也增强了对语言文字的兴趣。

In addition to know themselves, in the course of English language acquisition, little campers are also very enthusiastic about meeting new friends. Lovely international teachers and interesting classroom activities are attracting everyone. These children have realized the promotion of self-expression in the positive classroom atmosphere, and also enhanced their interest in language learning.

在老师的带领下，小营员们走进了数学文字的历史长河中，探索在百年前的古人是如何运用多种巧妙的方法去理解数字、记录数字的。

Under the guidance of the teachers, the students explore how our ancestors understand numbers, also record those. They use posters to achieve the cooperation spirit.

小小的身体中蕴含着大大的能量，这些能量是如何产生的？在科学课上，小营员们在老师的指导下了解并手绘出人体的消化系统，以3-4人为一组向全班展示及加以解说。

A small body contains huge amount of energy, but how does the energy produce? In the science class, the students drew up the digestion system in human body with the instruction of teachers. Their pictures were presented to the whole class by a group with 3 or 4.

随着时代的发展，宇宙中蕴藏的谜题也在逐渐被解开。我们的小营员们自然争先恐后，在人文课堂中与老师一同探索宇宙星空的奥秘。

Following the development of our society, the mysteries inside the universe are gradually being uncovered. Our 营员, together with the IAS teachers, was exploring the space mysteries.

在这里，同学们首先学习了关于扇子的各种知识，例如种类、材质等。然后自己动作绘制了一把带有自己风格的扇子。

In the visual art classes, the students learnt the knowledge about fans at first, such as the types, textures. Then, they paint a fan with their own style.

跟上融中的节奏！在音乐课上同学们跟着Jens老师，掌握了节奏的规律，不但进行了有趣的游戏，而且还熟悉了彼此的名字，大家都玩得不亦乐乎~

Follow the rhythm of Middle Years Program!In the music lesson, the students followed Jens and grasped the law of rhythm. They not only  took the interesting games, but also got familiar with each other during the process.

小小的盘子也能变成一个个可爱的小动物们。在老师的帮助下，小营员们利用彩纸拼贴对白盘子进行绘画装饰，每一个“动物”盘子都带有着独一无二的特点。手工制作的过程其实是为了服务与保护“濒危动物“的教育目标。

Small paper plates can also become cute little animals. With the help of the foreign teachers, the students used colored paper to collage and decorate the white plates, carrying out “animal” plates with unique characteristics，which actually serves as a step of the initiative of protecting endangered animals.

不如自己动手，设计这个世界吧。孩子们在数码设计体验中上，学习使用了3D模型设计软件SketchUp，他们学习了软件内的各种工具，加入自己的风格， 自己动手设计搭建了一个属于自己的房子。

Why not to design the world by ourselves? The students learned to use Sketch Up, a 3D model design software, in order to design their own houses using marvelous tools.

即使是在忙碌的学习生活中，我们也要学习成为一个全面发展的学生。因此各色有趣的社团也是我们融中学部的一大特点——汉服社，创意手工社，舞蹈社，足球社，宇宙探索史社等等。小营员们来到了自己心仪的社团，与志同道合的小伙伴们一起get许多的新技能，发现自己擅长的地方，在各方面成长着。

We need to become a balanced student even in the busy school life. Therefore, the diverse choices of club are also a characteristic of our integrated department. The new students chose their favorite clubs and was endowed with new skills through learning with their like-minded friends.

除了学科探究外，小营员们在28号下午前往校外体育场馆进行了紧张刺激的体能锻炼。攀岩、击剑、搏击、羽毛球、篮球，小营员们个个样样在行，分别取得了格斗勇士、剑客之心等不同领域的奖状。

In spite of probing into subjects in school, the students had fun in a gymnasium for physical fitness training.

在此次夏令营的结营仪式上，小营员们以饱满的精神面貌和丰富多彩的才艺向家长们和老师们展示了四天中的学习成果，他们出色的语言能力和探究精神，令所有的观众赞不绝口。在欢声笑语中，此次夏令营画上了圆满的句号。

The new Grade 6 students showed outstanding talent to the parents and teachers, whose language competence and spirit of inquiry won endless praise. The summer camp drew to an end in dances and music.

虽然只有短短的几天，但是新生们已经结下了深厚的友情，融中的老师们都已经深深的喜欢上了这群活泼可爱又聪明伶俐的小朋友们。孩子们脸上灿烂的笑容和清澈的眼眸，孩子们良好的素质和探究精神，都让我们对新学年充满期待。

Time flies! The students developed friendship and we already fell in love with the lovely and clever kid, who are well educated and positive, looking forward to their comeback.
